Personal Umbrella

Monetary damage awards from lawsuits continue to increase. Personal Umbrella policies provide an extra layer of liability coverage above and beyond what your auto, home or boat policies provide. Check with us to see if an Umbrella Policy makes sense for you.

Coverage gaps may exist even though your home, auto, boat and other property have coverage, it might not be enough!

HOW IT WORKS:

Umbrella policies covers damage claims you, your dependents or even pets may cause. It starts to pay after the liability insurance runs out. For instance, if your homeowners liability insurance is $500,000, your homeowners policy will only pay a liability claim of $500,000, but what if you need more? You will have to pay out of pocket. This is where an umbrella policies comes of service. If you have an umbrella policy, you could get coverage above that $500,000 up to the limit you select, such as $1 Million. This helps to insulate you from a loss.

Adding an umbrella insurance policy is rather inexpensive for the amount of coverage you receive and having the added liability coverage an umbrella policy offers is coverage no one should go without.
